Madres Coraje Group's story

This communal bank, “Madres Coraje” (Mother Courage), is made up of twelve members who make their livings in various businesses. They are in their third cycle. Lidia is 53-years old, married and has two children. She has made her living for the past 20 years in textiles. She takes orders to make jackets and vests. Lidia is requesting the loan to purchase wool, thread and needles. Her dream is to grow her business more. Lidia thanks the Kiva lenders for allowing her to continue growing her business.
