Sitha, 41 years old, is married and resides with two children in Kampong Speu Province, Cambodia. She is a housekeeper. Sitha's husband is a goldsmith who earns $10 daily. In order to improve her husband’s business, Sitha has requested a loan of $1,000 to purchase gold to make fashionable jewelry to sell and thereby earn more profit for the family. In the future, Sitha would like to expand the business and help her children earn their bachelor’s degrees.
