A loan of $300 helped to buy more land and supplies such as fertilizers and manures.

Danilo's story

Danilo, 44, is a native of the rural community La Concepción, located on the outskirts of Teustepe. He is married and the father of four children aged 13, 15, 16, and 19. Two of his children are attending school and the other two working in corn and bean farming. As a farmer, he grows corn and beans. He began this farming activity at a very young age, helping his parents on the farm. He acquired experience and complete knowledge about the business. He relies on the help of his children who help him to grow bulk grains. He sells his harvest in the same community to avoid further expenses. His expectations are to continue working in cultivation so that he can get a greater production from his harvest.

Danilo is requesting this loan to buy more lands and supplies such as fertilizers and manures with the goal of increasing harvest production. His next goal is to continue working to be able to pay off this loan, and to then request another loan to be able to support his wife to establish another business.
