Mr. Emeterio, 56, lives with his wife Genaria in the community of Chacjrapampa, Pedernal canton, municipality of Monteagudo. They grow corn (yellow and white) in four hectares they own, and sell it. They also raise pigs in some rustic pens they have.

These activities are their source of income and how they pay for their family’s clothes and food and for their children’s education.

This is why they are requesting a loan to buy agrochemicals and feed for their pigs, in order to receive more income and be able to continue paying for their children’s education. Once they graduate from high school, they will have more job opportunities and will be able to improve their life conditions.
