Fausta is a 39-year-old married woman with three children living in Kamwenge, Uganda. She is a primary teacher, and her parents inspired her to go into service. After realizing that teaching alone could not guarantee that she would be able to pay her family's daily expenses, she bought land and now practices commercial agriculture. Pests and diseases are her major challenges. Her dream is to buy more land and grow a variety of crops. Fausta intends to use the loan to buy farming inputs such as seedlings and fertilizers.
