A loan of $800 helped to pay for farming materials and other supplies needed in her business.

Julita's story

This is Julita. Her previous loan was a big help for her farm. She was able to harvest more sweet potatoes, tangerines, oranges, and other crops and fruits. Her farm business has existed for twenty years now. Their family is getting their everyday expenses from their income from the farm. Julita and her husband are working hard to provide income for their family. Julita would like to apply for another loan, this time for 32,000 PHP. She will use the loan to buy gardening materials like wire and baskets, and supplies such as seed and fertilizer needed in her business. Her profits from her business will definitely help her sustain their daily needs. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart. Julita dreams of being able to give her all her family a good future through all her hard work on her business. She faithfully meets up every week with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her work and draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies. * All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay microfinance loans.
