Ana Doneyda's story

Ana Doneyda is 27, married with two children, ages three and seven. She is originally from Malpaisillo, place located in the Southwest part of the country. During her free time she likes to spend quality time with her children at the park. Unfortunately she wasn't able to go to university because she didn't have the financial resources. However, she would have very much liked to study social work.

Thanks to her getting ahead attitude, she has an economic activity raising and selling pigs, three years ago she started working in this activity. She manages the business from her home. The goal of the loan is to invest in working capital and buy a lot of pigs that were offered to her at a good price. This way in the short future she will get better income. Ana Doneyda is thankful for the help the kiva investors provide to people with low resources and in poor countries like Nicaragua, to obtain a dignified work activity.
