A loan of $800 helped to buy balanced feed for her animals, and if there is enough money, she will buy natural fertilizers for her crops.

Julia's story

Julia, age 48, is a hard-working woman. She lives with her husband, Gerardo. They have six children, whom they are raising with great love and affection in the house they inherited ten years ago.

She is a very agile woman. This is mostly because she always walks several kilometers in order to be able to milk their cows. The cows are in a stable on the outskirts of her area. She spends her whole day taking care of them. They always give her an average of ten liters of milk, which she uses to make cheese molds. This helps her to get daily income.

She also takes advantage of this time to take care of her potato, corn, and vegetable crops. She harvests them with great satisfaction, and she sells them in the same place. “The same merchants come in their trucks,” she says.

She feels at peace, and she has a lot of plans to improve her quality of life. Her husband works for a road construction company, and he gets good income.

She belongs to the La Rosa de Paltarumi communal bank, and this is her eighth loan with MFP. She is very happy to be able to do her normal business activities because she has support from all of you. She pledges to make all of her payments punctually. She has always been a hard-working and honest person.

Julia will use the requested loan to buy balanced feed for her animals. If there is enough money, she will buy natural fertilizers for her crops.
