A loan of $1,000 helped to buy fertilizer, herbicides and pay for labor.

Melvin Rolando's story

Melvin is 27 years old and lives in his own home. He has two children who are 5 and 2 years old. He makes a living growing basic grains, with which he has supported his family. He works Monday-Saturday and learned from his parents. He has been working his own land for five years.

He is requesting a loan so that he can purchase fertilizers, herbicides and pay for day labor. This is all done to adequately complete the planting process and will be a a great help to invest in and increase his land's productivity. He has a desire to improve his economic standing so that he can offer his children university level studies that will prepare them for a better life.
