A loan of $775 helped to buy costume jewelry making supplies.

Ana Luisa's story

Ana, 46, is married and has four children; she lives in a suburban neighborhood in San Pedro Sula with her husband and two of her children. She’s always been a merchant and two years ago started making crafts and costume jewelry (she makes earrings, bracelets, and rings) and also sells silver jewelry items like earrings, chains, rings and others. She also earns income caring for one of her neighbor’s children. She’s decided to request this 15,000 Lempira loan to invest in the business. She’s going to buy gemstones, thread, wire, rubber, earring hooks and rings to manufacture her costume jewelry. The loan will help her produce and fill pending orders. Her plan is to help her husband with household expenses and help her son who has health problems.
