Rahman's story

Rahman is a 45-year-old man. He is an IDP who lives in the Bilasuvar IDP Settlement with his wife and three children. He is a farmer and has raised seasonal fruits and vegetables for the last 10 years. He chose this business because it is profitable and fresh crops are in high demand. People use fresh vegetables every day and consider them healthy. Many national dishes are made of vegetables, like pilau and dolma. Fresh fruits are served on every table in Azerbaijan and are also used to make fresh punch.

Rahman sells his crops in the Bilasuvar Settlement and sometimes in the bazaar. His monthly income is 120 AZN. His wife actively helps him to raise the crops.
As his products are in high demand, Rahman wants to expand his business and produce more fruits and vegetables to cover market demand. For this purpose he applied for 2000 AZN.
