A loan of $250 helped to buy tea tree seedlings.

Judith's story

Judith lives in the Nanyuki area of Central province, Kenya. She is a married mother of three children. She owns a tea tree farm, a business she has been operating for one year now. She also has a small-scale agricultural farm, dealing in maize, beans, potatoes, etc.

She learned about Milango through an employee who invited her to the group. She joined the group with a goal of accessing credit to improve her business operations. The main challenge she faces is lack of water.

Judith is applying for a loan of 20,730 KES to buy tea tree seedlings for the business. Her extra income from the loan will be added to the savings to expand the agricultural business. Her future plan is to open a cereals shop in five years.
