Mary's story

Mary is 41 years old and lives in Congo Town, in Montserrado County, which has the largest port in Liberia (The Freeport of Monrovia) and is the number one commercial county in the country. She is married, with five children that live at home and attend school.

For the past 17 years, Mary has been selling rice, oil, and pepper, and she started this business with money given to her by her husband. The business helps her save more money. She is requesting a loan to purchase more rice ,oil, okra, and pepper for her business. Her plan is to build a house.
