Richard's story

Richard is 27 years old, married, and blessed with two children ages six years and four years, respectively. His spouse - a housewife - and does small scale farming (ie. keeping chickens) to support him in meeting some of their financial needs. Richard runs a transport business and has been in this business for the last four years.

He has borrowed a loan of 85,000 KES. He intends to use the whole amount of this loan to purchase a motorbike to expand his transport business. From this business he gets an average income of 25,000 KES a month. With the anticipated profits, he intends to expand his business and do more maintenance of his motorbikes.

His future plan is to buy a plot for building business premises and open a motorcycle spares shop for his wife.
