Geoffrey is pictured amongst the 4 men and 6 women of his group. He will receive input loans capable of planting ½ an acre with sorghum, millet, and maize. Geoffrey is a new One Acre Fund farmer for the Long Rains 2013 season. Geoffrey joined One Acre Fund so that he could gain access to hybrid seeds, fertilizer, and access the best input prices.

Geoffrey thought his harvest last year was poor. He hopes that as a One Acre Fund farmer he can have an excellent harvest. He plans on using future profits from the harvest to send his children to school and invest in a cow. For the 2013 Long Rains season, Geoffrey’s group members will take input loans of ½ an acre each. In total, this group will receive input loans for use on 5 acres of land.
