Sarom is 60 years old. She is married and resides with three children in Kampong Speu Province, Cambodia. She has been producing round bells to sell for more than 10 years, earning approximately $2 daily. Her husband is a construction worker who makes an income of $5 per day. One of her children is also a construction worker.
Due to the difficulty with her family’s transportation, Sarom requests a loan of $500 to purchase a motorbike for commuting. This purchase will help her reduce the family's transportation expenses. In the future, she would like to expand the business and help her children earn bachelor’s degrees.
