James' Group's story

James is a fifty-three-year-old father of seven children and husband. James' current business is charcoal production, but he recognizes this venture as environmentally destructive and unsustainable. He therefore is joining the KOMAZA microforestry program to engage in a business that promotes tree planting. James intends to use the profits from his tree farm to educate his children, start a new business, and buy new land for his family to settle on.
