A loan of $825 helped purchase a cow for his business.

Oscar Elvin's story

Oscar is a 33 year old man who is single and without children. He lives in the community of San Lorenzo in southern Honduras. Oscar does not have his own home. He has been selling pork and fish, and raising and selling livestock for 8 years. He also sells calves and cows. His clients are his neighbors and friends in the community where he lives.

Oscar is a street vendor, and he leaves on his bike every morning to sell his products in the neighborhoods and communities.

Oscar is requesting a loan to buy himself a cow to sell milk. He is very happy to continue working with Prisma, and he is asking for his eighth loan this time. Oscar is a good client, and with the support Prisma has already offered, he has a small farm.

Oscar’s dream is to grow his business.
