A loan of $750 helped to buy milk.

Mario Ezequiel's story

Mario is a native of the Achuapa municipality, a small community where pure milk is abundant, and along with it, its various products such as tasty donuts, cheese, curds, and cream, which are sold due to their same purity.

Such is the case of Mario, a 57-year old married man who has been selling dairy products for 20 years. His main work is acquiring milk from the different neighboring rural areas of the municipality, which is the main ingredient for the processing and making of cream, curds, and cheese. He transports these to the city of Estelí to supply various businesses.

Due to the scarcity of these foods during the summer, there is a greater customer demand; for this reason, he is requesting a loan to buy milk in large quantities, and so be able to make his products with the intention of satisfying customer demand.

He trusts in God that the lenders from Kiva and CEPRODEL will offer him their helping hand and grant him this loan to be able to carry out his investment, and so to please his customers.
