Asiimwe's story

Asiimwe is a 35-year-old married man with six children living in Kasese, Uganda. Thirteen years ago he decided to venture into a retail shop business and with the profits he has been able to pay school fees for his children. He also trades in coffee to earn extra income despite challenges of inadequate capital and high cost of living. Asiimwe intends to use the loan to buy cassava flour, maize flour, rice and sugar to sell.
