Constance is a 45-year-old married woman living in the town of Masindi, Uganda.Twenty years ago she decided to set up a retail shop in order to meet the day-to-day expenses of her family. With the profits earned she has been able to pay school fees for her children and buy land for farming. She has also managed to set up rental houses where she earns a monthly rent from four tenants. Her greatest business challenges are customers not paying on time and inadequate capital, while her dream is to own a wholesale shop.
Constance intends to use the loan to buy general merchandise such as soap and sugar to sell.
