Rene's story

Rene is a 28-year old woman who, despite her young age, has had a life full of work and sacrifices. She shares her life with Efraín (57 years old) and her other two big drivers in life: her sons Charavi and Ángelo, who are 6 and 10 years old respectively. She owns a house built with fine wood that she could finish after many years of sacrifices and work. After finishing higher education, she worked as a public employee for a short period of time but, when her son Ángelo arrived, she decided to quit her job and give him all the attention. It was some time later when she opened her grocery store thanks to the support of Efraín. Five years have passed and today her business has become a good support for the household finances. She sees her job as calm and is able to take care of her sons. She has also become a well known neighbor in only a few years. In order to keep her business running smoothly, she wants to count on capital to stock up on provisions again, as it has been the norm being located in a busy area with a large number of clients. Her plans for the future include building a second floor in her house and expanding her business, goals that she expects to attain thanks to her work. She is requesting 3,000 nuevos soles to buy beverages, such as soda water and beer, and other provisions, such as rice, sugar and canned foods, among others.
