Roxana's story

Roxana, 25, is an enterprising woman, who is not married and has no children. She wants to overcome issues typical of her age group. She lives in a well-built house owned by her parents. As a teen, she worked as a waitress; then she was an assistant cook in a local restaurant; and finally, she became a merchant and opened her business. She likes her profession because she has a gift for serving customers well. Moreover, the business is profitable.

She's thinking of opening a new roasted chicken business in a nearby space, where she plans to install the best equipment she can, a dream she has had since she started in this business. Her long-term goals are to open other spaces and to have a new vehicle to transport supplies from large cities, goals which show her work ethic and her commitment to making her dream a reality. She is applying for a loan of 3,000 nuevos soles to rent a space where she will open a chicken restaurant and to buy tables and other furnishings.
