Carlos Alberto's story

Carlos Alberto lives together with his wife and two children in the municipality of San Juan de Limay. He is responsible for his children’s support and for their studies. Carlos is a farmer; he grows basic grains and raises meat and milk cattle.

Mr. Carlos is known as an honest and enterprising person. He has more than twelve years of experience in this activity and works his own land, which is highly productive. He now wants to make the most out of it by raising cattle, which is one of the best options for local people. His wife is a hardworking woman who runs a small grocery store, which contributes with additional income for the family’s expenses.

Mr. Carlos is requesting his third loan. He hopes to receive it in order to buy four steers to raise for a year and sell them to the slaughterhouse once they have reached the right weight. In this way, he will have an income that will help him improve his farm and his family’s quality of life.
