Zuhura is 40 years old and married with four children, and their ages are six, eight, ten and twelve years old. She lives in her own house with her husband and children. She owns a store that sells household goods. She buys them in wholesale and sells them at a higher price. Zuhura is a hardworking and entrepreneurial woman, and in her business she always puts her best effort forward to give the best service and products to her loyal customers, who always reach out to her due to her honesty and dedication. She has a dream of providing for her family's needs and paying for her children's schooling so that they receive a good education, which will assure them of a good future.
Zuhura needs to increase her stock, so she needs to buy sugar, wheat flour, maize flour and cooking oil. She asked for a loan that amounts to KSH 50,000 so that she can restock and expand her shop. She is very grateful for the opportunity.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
