Olia is from the village of Chabukiani, East Georgia. She is 39 years old, married, and lives with her family: her husband Nugzar and two daughters. The children go to school. Nugzar owns a tractor and works in the village as a tractor driver. In season, he provides seasonal services (tilling, moving, sowing) to neighbor farmers.

Olia is leading the family agricultural activities. They have three calves and two milk cows and sell home-made cheese on the local market. Also the family owns 0.5 hectares of vineyard and 0.5 hectares of land, on a part of which watermelon is grown. Harvested products are also sold locally. Besides, Olia owns two piglets and plans to sell them in near future.

Olia requested a loan to fix Nugzar’s tractor, as it is old and has been out of order for a couple of months. After some parts are changed, it will be ready for spring seasonal agricultural work. Nugzar will still be able to use his tractor for income generation. Another part of the loan will be used for purchasing watermelon seeds and covering the expenses of tilling the land. Olia hopes that she will get a good harvest and increase the family income. Olia awaits your support.
