Kyosiga Kyokungula2 Group's story

Efulansi is a 45-year-old widow with two children. She also looks after her grandchildren whose parents died. Efulansi has an old sewing machine which she uses to sew uniforms and other clothes for her customers, especially women who put on traditional gomesi. She does her business from her house. She has been working for the eleven years since the death of her husband.

Efulansi works hard every day in order to look after her grandchildren well by providing them with a quality education and all basic necessities. Efulansi is recommended by her customers as the best tailor around in her village.

She needs a loan to buy more materials and a new sewing machine because the one she has is old. It can no longer produce as many pieces as it used to when it was new. She has hopes of improving her business and renovating her home.
