A loan of $2,825 helped to purchase horses.

Nurzat's story

Nurzat is twenty-seven years old and is raising two children. Her main source of income comes from breeding animals. From a starting capital of 40,000 soms (KGS) in 2010, her business has grown to include 11 cows, 10 calves, 1 horse, 6 sheep, 19 goats and a monthly income of 15,000 soms from the sale of milk and dairy products. Wishing to expand her business even further, Nurzat approached "Bai Tushum and Partners" requesting a loan of 135,000 soms (KGS) in order to buy some horses. She plans to use the profits from this loan by purchasing more livestock.
