For a long time Ashot worked as a shoemaker. As Ashot confessed, he had a terrible period in his life – He had taken part in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, and during cruel fights in Shushi and Stepanakert he was wounded. After the war Ashot had a little health problem, but he couldn't stay at home, and so for a long time he engaged in shoe trading in the Vanadzor clothes market.
Now Ashot is a taxi driver. He works with his own car which was produced during the Soviet Union period. Ashot needs a 500,000 Armenian drams loan to buy a new car for his activity.
