A loan of $1,000 helped to pay for grocery items, toiletries and beverages needed in her business.

Gloria's story

This is Gloria. Her previous loan was a big help, not just in her business, but also in her daily expenses. She was able to buy all the needed products for her grocery store, and that helped a lot in generating more income. Her business has been running for fifteen years now, and it keeps on growing. She is working hard to provide income for her everyday expenses.

Gloria would like to apply for another loan, this time for 40,000 PHP, to buy groceries, toiletries, beverages and other products to add to her current inventory. The more items displayed at the store, the better. More items to sell will result in better profit. Her profits from the business will definitely help her to sustain her daily needs. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Gloria hopes that her business will continue to grow and dreams of having a good and peaceful life. She faithfully meets up weekly with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her work and draw strength and inspiration from studying the Word of God.

* All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners who gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay microfinance loans.
