Rafael Antonio's story

Rafael, 58, is a native of Granada, but has lived in Managua for 35 years. He is married, and is the father of six grown children who are all independent. He is a merchant who has a tire repair shop. He started this business 15 years ago. He decided to start his own business because there was no work, and he needed to have way to earn a living. This is why today he has his tire repair shop. His shop is located in a very busy area where many of his customers pass through, and so it's a good place for business. He feels very satisfied with the earnings that his business generates. This has been his first business, and he has the support of his children. He is requesting a loan to buy rims, wheels, motor oil, and tires for cars, motorcycles and bicycles. His goal is to make his business grow so that he can have better earnings. For the future, his plan is to improve the infrastructure of his workshop to improve its appearance.
