A loan of $300 helped to buy farming supplie.

Evelio De Jesus's story

Evelio is a farmer who has a small plot of land where he raises the basic grains such as rice and beans. He sells part of his harvest and uses the rest for personal consumption.

Evelio is 48 years old and lives with his family in his own home. He is known for being an honest, responsible, and sincere man dedicated to his daily labor and to providing a good future for his family. He also works as a laborer and sometimes as a mason when it isn’t harvest season, so his neighbors see him every day. He wants to provide the best for his family and be sure that they are not in need of anything.

Evelio wants to buy farming supplies for his next harvest, so he has requested a loan through INTEGRAL so he can buy seeds, compost, fertilizers, and pesticides. He hopes to get this loan because the harvest season is nearing and he doesn’t have the capital he needs to buy the supplies. He is certain that he will be able to get out of debt and continuing to provide his family with their daily bread.
