Saumu is 46 years old, married and has two children. She lives in Msambweni, Kenya. She owns a charcoal stall where she sells charcoal and firewood. Her major customers are schools near her stall where she has won the tender to supply them with both firewood and charcoal.
She recently won another tender to supply firewood to two more secondary schools therefore she needs to expand her bushiness and increase the amount of charcoal and firewood she has in store. Saumu has requested a loan of 50000 KES so that she will be able to supply the two customers effectively.
