Oretha's story

Oretha is 44 years old and lives in Jacob Town, one of the cheaper places to live in Montserrado. She is married with 8 children between the ages of 15 and 20, which are attending school, and live at home. For the past 15 years she has been selling biscuits, soap, rice, pepper, soft drinks and oil in the local market. She makes more profit at some times, but most of the time business is slow. She is requesting a loan to purchase biscuits, soap, rice, pepper, soft drink, and oil for her business. Her plan for the future is to educate her children and build a house.
