Isseu's Group's story

This group was created on 28 May 2009 and comprises women from the same area united by good social and professional relations.
The group leader, Ms. Aida, is a 49-year-old married mother of seven children - five sons and two daughters.
She is standing all the way on the right in the photo with her hand raised. Aida has run a business selling fish for close to ten years and has gained good experience in this field.
Her new loan of 100,000 FCFA will allow her to buy baskets of fresh fish, which she will resell at retail in her area.
The profits from her business allow her to take care of her children's educational and health needs.
