Alex is a 29-year-old hardworking married man with 2 children aged 1 and 6 living in Kyenjojo-Uganda. He acquired his start-up capital from banana farming. He opened up a retail shop for general merchandise to serve the people in his village and the surrounding areas.
Alex is a very honest business man but has a challenge of inadequate capital and the problem of price fluctuations due to inflation, hence high prices for the commodities. In future he wants to become a wholesaler and has a personal goal of building a permanent home for his family. Alex is requesting a loan for purchasing sugar, soap, rice, salt and cooking oil to sell.
This loan provides farmers and low-income entrepreneurs from underserved rural areas with access to financial services. By supporting this loan, you allow more farmers and rural entrepreneurs to access capital.
