A loan of $2,700 helped a member to pay for a bale of used clothing.

Le Tresor 2 Group's story

Ida is 50 years old and single with a 29-year-old child. For the past 10 years, she has sold clothing in a local market. Ida has gained valuable customers and her business strategy is to offer friendly and polite customer service. In Congo, used-clothing vendors buy large bales of clothing from a company that receives clothing from various places around the world. Ida sorts the clothes to sell. She has successfully repaid four previous loans from the Kiva partner HOPE Congo. Ida is requesting a loan as a representative of the Le Tresor 2 group. She will use her portion of the loan to buy a large bale of used clothing. Ida wants to continue to improve her business and she hopes her child will be happy in life and find a job.
