A loan of $1,425 helped to buy school supplies.

Victor Ignacio's story

46-year-old Víctor describes himself as a fighter who never lets anything get in his way. He views difficulties as opportunities to learn and improve. Over the years, Víctor has had to face situations which have left their mark on him. However, he has always emerged victorious. He currently has a general store which is testament to his efforts and years of hard work.

Four years ago, Víctor was forced to close his business owing to public order problems in the neighborhood. He was forced to move to another place and re-start his business. His current business is gaining a good reputation and, for this reason, he is requesting a loan so that he can invest in buying school supplies for the back-to-school period. He thereby hopes to increase his sales and be competitive.

Víctor's biggest dream is to buy premises in which to set up his business so that he can reduce his costs and guarantee his two dependent children better living conditions and the opportunity to pursue a university education.
