A loan of $1,700 helped to buy three computers and accessories.

Dimas Manuel's story

Dimas is 39 years old and lives with his wife and his four children who are between the ages of 4 and 18 years old. They live in the south west of their city, where he has a business through which he offers internet services, mobile telephone calls and electronic games services. He works 7 days a week from 8 am till 10 pm. His experience started 8 years ago when he started to notice a gap in the market for modern communications and healthy entertainment for young people and teenagers. His business has grown and today he has two premises where he and his wife work and the family income depends on the business.

Dimas has received 7 loans from the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo, through which he has been able to expand his business. This is why he has set himself growth targets, as his dream is that his sons will be successful professionals and Dimas and his wife work extremely hard in order to achieve this dream. He is now applying for a Kiva loan, which he will use to buy 3 computers and accessories, because the demand for services has increased and he needs to keep up with the demand so his business will continue and he can increase his standing in the neighbourhood he is located.
