A loan of $2,500 helped to renovate the greenhouse and purchase rose saplings .

Manana's story

Manana is a 57-year-old woman from the small town Tsavkisi, near capital city. She is a widow and lives with her family: son, daughter–in-law, grandchild and retired mother.

Manana works as a watchman at the local school and her son serves the local people as a driver. Both earn a monthly income.

Manana requested credit to start up a new business. She will purchase construction materials and hire workers to renovate a greenhouse that is located in Manana’s yard. She will purchase rose saplings and plant them in the greenhouse. The picked flowers will be sold to local flower retailers.

The loan will significantly increase her family’s income and help her family combat poverty and improve their living conditions.
