A loan helped a member to complete the construction of toilets.

Kafene Women Group's story

Norah, 40 years old, lives in Ntinda, a suburb of Kampala. She is a hairdresser, earning a daily income to sustain her family of 5 members. Norah's business started in 2000 and she has been able to pay school fees and to provide the necessary needs for both her children and other dependents. She has also built rental houses to earn additional income.

Norah has requested a loan of 400,000 UGX to complete the tenants' toilet. Her dream is to finish her rentals and to see her family prosper. Norah's main challenges are competition from the neighbors and delay of payments from her customers. She is a hardworking and honest lady and would like to thank the funders for their generosity to the poor.
