A loan of $650 helped to purchase livestock for future resale.

Jarkynai's story

Jarkynai is 22 years old. She is married and has two young daughters. She has been involved in raising livestock for the past three years (she started when she was 19). Animal farming is her family's main source of income. She started in this business with an initial sum of 10,000 som (KGS), which she used to buy two sheep. Jarkynai's farming business is still not very big. Every month, it brings an income of close to 12,000 som (KGS). In order to further develop her business, Jarkynai has turned to Bai Tushum & Partners, and requested a loan of 30,000 som (KGS) for the purchase of livestock to be fattened and resold. She plans to invest the proceeds from her loan into the expansion of her farming business.
