A loan of $525 helped to purchase additional stocks to sell, such as snack foods, spices, canned goods, noodles, and eggs.

Marilou's story

Marilou is 42 years old and single. Marilou works hard to provide for her family. She runs a general store in the Philippines and requested a PHP 21,000 loan through Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation, Inc. (NWTF) to purchase additional stocks to sell, such as snack foods, spices, canned goods, noodles, and eggs.

Marilou has borrowed and paid seven loans from NWTF before this loan. She has been running the general store for five years and also earns an income from a buy and sell, ready-to-wear clothing business.

Marilou aspires to save and expand her business to secure the future of her family.
