A loan of $375 helped to buy clothes, sandals, and tennis shoes to stock his business.

Roger Amilcar's story

Roger, age 34, is in a common-law marriage and has two children. He lives with them in a suburban neighborhood of San Pedro Sula. He used to do construction work on houses. However, one year ago he decided to work in commerce.

He sells clothes like blouses, pants, t-shirts, sandals, and tennis shoes. He sells in an itinerant manner. He decided to get this loan for 7,000 lempiras in order to buy more shoes and clothes. This investment will allow him to have better income. By purchasing for cash and in volume he gets more profit.

His goal is to make his business grow in order to be able to help his family and to get out of poverty. He is very grateful for the given support.
