Jose, age 20, is married and has one child. He lives with his wife and child in the Esparta Atlántida municipality. José previously worked with livestock. However, in the search to get more income, he decided to establish, with his wife, his own grocery store business.

He sells basic products like flour, sugar, shortening, soap, coffee, salt, rice, over the counter pills, condiments, and other groceries. In order to increase his inventory he decided to request a loan for 8,000 lempiras. He will use the loan to buy food products to stock his grocery store. He wants his business to grow and to get better income for his personal well-being and that of his family.
