A loan of $2,850 helped a member to buy a wheelbarrow and wooden planks.

Los Trapiches Group's story

"Los Trapiches" is the name of a group made up of five kind, cheerful, and very hardworking people. Each one of them has a financial activity: Hortencia sells clothing, Claudia runs a nutrition club, Petra and Rocio sell footwear, and Alberto offers brickwork services. This group is located in a sugarcane region.

Alberto is a young single man who has been working in brickwork for a little more than two years. He says that he did not have the opportunity to continue studying, so he learned a trade. He works in this trade to earn money to be able to contribute to the expenses of his home in his parents' house.

His job consists of the construction of homes, walls, roofs, and corridors. He said, "What I like the most about my job is that I partake in the building of homes, and it's something beautiful to see as a family gradually lifts themselves up, and in passing, I earn money which will help my family"

He will use this loan to buy a wheelbarrow and wooden planks to continue with his trade.

In the future, he hopes to use his earnings to make improvements in his home and give his parents a better life.

This group is grateful for Vision Fund because of the support provided to their families and business.
