Diambogne's Group's story

This women's group was created on December 2008. Its members all come from the same village and are united by good social relationships.

Fatou is the representative of the group. She is 51 years old and the mother of six children (four boys and two girls). She is standing at the far right in the photo, dressed in white and wearing a scarf on her head.

Fatou has been fattening cattle for almost six years, and she has a good experience in this field. She will use her new loan of 75,000 CFA francs to buy two sheep which she will raise for future resale.

With the profits from her business, Fatou will be able to take care of her children's nutritional and school needs. She will also be able to strengthen her savings with the Banc Villageois.
