Mahbuba is married and has 4 children. She earns her living by raising cattle. She has been involved in this business since her early childhood, as her parents' livelihood was fattening cattle. Mahbuba has several head of cattle, and she also has 2 dairy cows. Every morning she sells her neighbours and her acquaintances milk and dairy products such as kefir and cottage cheese that she makes herself. Her son helps her to raise the cattle. Because they live in a rural area, the cows graze in a pasture where her son watches them and leads them home in the evening. Now it is winter and there is practically no grass for the cows to graze on, so Mahbuba has approached Kiva for a loan to buy feed for her livestock. She wants to buy the feed before spring, fatten the cows, and sell them at a good price come spring. She plans to use the loan to buy feed, and she thanks Kiva in advance for the financial support.
