A loan of $775 helped to buy clothing and shoes to sell.

Yessenia Del Rosario's story

Yessenia is a 38 year-old single mother. She has one child, and lives in a town in the municipality of Macuelizo, in the department of Santa Barbara. For 4 years, Yessenia has been selling merchandise such as lotions, shirts, pants, sneakers, and other products. She sells from place to place, and also sells on the basis of advanced orders. Her business has grown, thanks to the investments she has made with loans. She has decided to request a second loan from ODEF so that she can stock up with merchandise. The loan she is requesting is for 15,000 Honduran lempiras. She will invest this loan in the purchase of clothing and shoes. She hopes to increase her sales and expand her inventory so that she can distribute more products to her customers. Yessenia's dream for the future is to eventually have her own store and have a better quality of life.
