A loan of $500 helped to buy new clothes to sell and construct a permanent storefront.

Kaviti's story

Kaviti is a resident of Mariakani, Kenya. She is a married mother of four children. She runs a clothes shop, which has been operating for ten years. She started the shop with the profits from selling farm produce. Kaviti calls her shop "The Village Boutique." She currently lacks a permanent storefront.

She was introduced to Milango by her friends and joined to access credit. She is applying for a loan of 41,900 Kenya Shillings to purchase new clothes to sell and construct a permanent storefront. Kaviti believes the income from this loan will help her educate her children. She is focused on owning a wholesale shop despite the challenge of unpaid debts.
